Chipped or Fractured Teeth

Chipped teeth are easy to repair. If the chip exposes the pulp, the endodontist will use some filling to seal the injured part. Root canal procedure may be the last resort in treating extensive pulp exposures.
Cracked teeth, fractured cusps, and split teeth are some of the common back teeth injuries. The dentist can repair a tooth when the crack does not reach the root. However, if the crack reaches the root and injures the pulp, the best treatment option that will save any part of the tooth is a root canal treatment.
